You deserve it.
The Foundation
Rewind the tape. Cut the static. Go back to the days before the world got dramatic. Before the "adulting," before the heavy cost, Before we knew just how much could be lost. It was just us. In the torments of FUOYE, in the dust, in the heat of the school, Before we learned the exception, we learned the rule. That WE ARE OUR STRENGTHS AND OUR WEAKNESSES, A two-man army, a quiet nation. We grew in the margins, we learned in the lines, Reading the future in each other’s light. And yeah, we stumbled. We tripped. We failed. We went through the mud, we went through hell. But look at the footing. Look where we land. Every time we hit the dirt, we grabbed a hand (our hand). We stumbled forward. We stumbled through. The world changed its face, but I never lost you.
My Shelter, My Sea
If I were to paint your soul, I would paint a Tall Tree standing firm, showering me with shade when the sun of this world becomes too harsh. Currently, the waves may be high, but does the ocean fear the rain? No. It only deepens it.
Elegant as a Rose
You are my Arẹwà. My Beauty. My Peace.
